Your AMS data, unlocked for HubSpot.
Policy data lives in your AMS. Sales, service, and retention workflows live in HubSpot. PowerSync bridges the two, converting AMS records into a format HubSpot and AI tools can act on.
The sync layer that makes everything else work.
Legacy AMS platforms organize data around policies. HubSpot organizes data around contacts and companies. PowerSync converts AMS records into a structure HubSpot and AI tools can act on, without touching your AMS or requiring a migration.
How it works
PowerSync reads policy and client data from your AMS and writes it into HubSpot as structured contact and company records. Policy numbers, effective dates, coverage types, and premium amounts are all visible in HubSpot, updated in near real-time.
Your AMS stays your AMS. Nothing changes in how you use it. PowerSync runs in the background, keeping HubSpot current without any manual data entry or export/import cycles.
Why it matters
Without AMS data in HubSpot, every workflow runs blind. Renewal sequences don't know when policies expire. Retention scoring can't see premium changes. Cross-sell triggers don't fire because the coverage data isn't there.
PowerSync closes that gap. AI tools, automation, and reporting in HubSpot all operate from accurate, current AMS data rather than a static export from three weeks ago.
Do you need bi-directional sync? Probably not.
It's one of the first questions agencies ask, and a fair one. Not every AMS platform makes fully-functional bi-directional sync possible in the first place. But after years of running PowerSync across real agencies, we've found something else: once clients understand how the data actually needs to flow, they realize two-way sync was never the requirement they thought it was.
Two systems, two jobs
HubSpot manages the relationship: engagement, communication, service tickets, renewal outreach, everything involving a producer or CSR talking to a client. The AMS stays the source of truth for policy data and policy management. PowerSync keeps that policy data visible and current inside HubSpot, but HubSpot was never meant to be where policy changes originate.
Where changes actually happen
Viewing policy data in HubSpot covers the vast majority of day-to-day work. When a user needs to do more than view it, that change doesn't start in HubSpot or even in the AMS. It starts with the carrier. Producers and CSRs go directly to the carrier to update policy and client data, the same way they always have.
How the change actually travels
Carrier update → Ivans → Your AMS → HubSpot, via PowerSync
The carrier remains the system of record for the policy itself. Ivans carries the update into your AMS the same way it does today. PowerSync then syncs that change into HubSpot, so the record stays current without anyone re-entering data in a second system.
